Doors need adjusting after body lift?
Has anyone had their doors close and make a thumping noise. I added a teraflex body lift( OH NO! NOT A BODY LIFT! .waiting on the suspension so I dont need drive shafts). Now my doors seem thump when i close it. Even my wife noticed it and she never sees anything different or changed on my jeep. Any one have advice and im not talking about taking the body lift back off. Thanks.

Interesting I'm going to be installing a 1 inch pa body lift soon hope I don't run into this. Does the door bind anywhere or make contact with anything? Is it both driver and passenger making the noise?

Not binding, but just a thud like its hitting the Jam and moving up instead of just latching correctly the first time.

Hopefully you didn't twist the body during the install when jacking it up. Did you disconnect or loosen all the mounts before jacking or did you do one side then the other?

I have done a few body lifts on jeeps and when I install them I put a 2x4 between the jack and the body, that way the pressure is more evenly distributed and it doesn't bend anything.
If you just put the jack strait to the body and lifted it you may have warped or bended something.
