Default tom woods

call up tom woods driveshafts and you get a lot more options. i have from and rear driveshafts from tom woods, the rear being a cv type on my YJ and they are exceptional quality, and for the dude that really wants the boot on the shaft, they do that too. They have really good price ranges and higher and lower quality options that are all really nice.

x2 in favor of Tom Woods driveshafts. I also have front & rear driveshafts from him. Great products and customer service. He will pick up the phone himself and answer all of your questions.

Although Tom Woods does make good drive shafts, I would be grateful if you would please consider buying a JE Reel or a soon to be released Coast drive shaft (really good shafts) as they are both supporters of this forum and I think you will find both to be great companies with great customer service.

Are there any good sources for determining the differences there are between the shafts that each company puts out? I will need new shafts when I eventually do my lift and it is one of my research points.

I have the JE Reel shafts on mine, and they are holding up great. I have 37" tires and wheel it a lot, (rock crawling, hill clmibing, etc) and they are some tough shafts.

Any idea on a time table for their shafts? I'm shopping around now and have checked their site a few times hoping they were available, but nothing yet. I know I could call them and I will, but I was just curious if you'd been in touch w/ them.

I talked to Coast at SEMA and agreed to let them borrow my JK in about a week. From there, they will do final test fittings and should have shafts available by the end of the year

Tom woods driveshafts are made to order. You do the measuring. They are shipped within 24 hours. I have them front and rear. No problems at all. The sponsors shafts are off the shelf and not made to order. Tom answers the phone and answers all your questions. That is service you don't get anywhere else . Except with Mel at Off Road Evalution he or his wife answers the phone. He is honest and upfront and gets down to business and delivers.
