Is EVO serious?!?!
Even though I think 6% is excessive, I will say that at least on their website for suspensions it does state 6% restocking fee for cancellations. If EVO must charge that then they should post on all products and tell customers that. Even though this seems like a big deal and everyone is jumping on EVO's ass, I do think they have some very nice products and I may be buying an Enforcer kit at some point soon.
It's not six percent. It's three percent twice, first of all. Purchase, then, refund.
Should it be stated, yes and clearly. After this I'd expect to see it on their website. At least on the shipping cart page.
The reason for not being happy with the product is silly. I would have painted my hubs some bright stupid color of it bothered me that much and called it a day.
There is also a huge discrepancy in the order this occurred between the two parties. If center caps and lug nuts were this big a deal, it should have been asked by the purchaser before giving credit info.

I personally think you starting this thread is ridiculous. People have lost the ability to communicate with people over the phone or face to face. Why didn't you pick up a phone and call MEL and let him know your frustration? As you see he is reasonable and accommodated you in your situation. Now every Tom, Dick or Harry will read this flaming thread and form an incorrect opinion about ORE. I have dealt with them on numerous occasions and have received GREAT customer service, especially with the new salesman.
A restocking fee is understandable, but 6% for something never shipped is not a reasonable policy.
Easy solution. Don't charge the card until items are shipped. This is a better business practice as well.
