Preparation has continued.

Jeep is getting TF sleeves welded in Thursday, as well as Synergy ball joints. Gussets are already in.

I have ordered a flashpaq, 4 rear Currie control arms to push the axle back a bit, and a set of Trepadors. I haven't made my mind up with fenders yet, leaning toward PS crushers, though not sure if standard width or narrow. I may just run without any fenders for a few weeks to save up.

Sold my 33s so 4 of the 37s are being mounted now. Still stock fenders, won't be wheelin til I remedy that. Hoping for the 4 rear arms, spare, and tuner next week.

Ok. I don't want to hear one comment about mall crawling. Seriously. Take your Internet ass elsewhere if you feel it coming on. I'm posting a few pics of 37s on 2" lift IN PROGRESS. I know I need flat fenders etc. this is the reason I'm making this transition in winter.

Looking good! To be honest, the tires look like they stuff pretty well in the fender, maybe just trim out the inners? Of course those 37's are a great excuse for flats!

Thanks. My last 33s on those wheels stuffed perfectly.

They ride fine on the street and I'm not a big fan of cut fenders. Once I do rear arms and a programmer, ill do fenders. Ill start with front fenders and if I need to ill just run naked in the back. I'm in CO and coverage doesn't matter. Then rear fenders of course.

Thanks for your input!

Couple questions from a noob.

From that last picture, looks like the tire is real close to rubbing the rear bumper. Are you doing 2 arms front and 2 rear? I know the front lower push the axle forward and I guess I'd assume rear lowers (?) do the same? Also, is it just the width of the 37 that makes it rub on the stock flares? I'm thinking the wheel is too wide for the well is all. What I like about the stockers is that everyone takes them off so if I were to rip mine off on a trail I could pick up replacements super cheap. I'm also not a huge fan of flat fenders anyway and like the stock look.

I think your rig looks great. Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for the compliments brother! I'm doing both upper and lower control arms in the rear so I can push the axle back a bit. Just doing the uppers you can correct the piņon angle, or driveline angle. It does rub the front of the back bumper, ill just remove it or trim it. I rub fenders not only due to tire width, but also the backspacing of my wheel. It's positioned further out from the jeep than stock wheels to clear components and stuff. Most guys here run between 3.5-4.5" backspacing.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I figured I could put off worrying about fenders till early spring, be careful even on speed bumps!

There was enough articulation that the tires were hitting the fenders...

Haha. We're you on stock uncut like me right now? I don't care if the fenders get damaged, just nothing else. I figure ill buy fronts with tax money and cut/remove the rears for a while. I'm in the comparing/contrasting stage. And I'm ok with not wheeling til I get it all situated. Did you damage anything or just rub?
