Default Fire Extinguisher?

Just wondering what everyone does for a fire extinguisher. I need to get one and just wanted some ideas. I did a search, but there doesn't seem to be a thread dedicated to this.

I have ben in the same boat. I know the club I am in requires a calss A, B, & C extinguisher, and secured within reach of the drivers seat. The smallest one I can find that meets the requirements is a 2.5lb one. Once up to that size I am having a hard time finding a good mounting location near the drivers seat where it will not look like crap, and also be functional.

I strapped a small extinguisher to the child seat bracket behind the rear seat. Sometimes I have to move it to fold the seat down, but it stays fine. I'll try to post a pic this evening.

I saw someone on here that cleverly strapped one to the slots in the tailgate, I'll see if I can dig that up.

AB&C from the local hardware store works just fine. I have 1 but I am adding a 2nd. I have 2 rollbar extinguisher holders on order from Quadratec. One will be at the back pf the jeep, the other somewhere close to me for quick reaction. I also added a serrated blade knife to cu seatbelts just incase... really I am not paranoid at all!

hopefully prepared for nothing! I love my Jeep, but I would personally light it on fire if it meant my kids would never be harmed

I keep my fire extinguisher in the back pocket of my driver's seat cover.

I got a good metal handled ABC from the local fire supply place. It is a 2.5lb. I have it attached to the roll bar with a holder that is fairly secure from quadratec for like 20 bucks.

I attached one on each side driver and passenger on the upper roll bar. They are right next to our heads, high enough that I don't bang into them. Easy to get to. I'll try to get a couple of shots so you can see.

Are all of these yall are talking about disposable or or some refillable? I hate throwin somethin away that I can reuse. I'd rather get the refillable if they come that small. Thanks for all the input so far!
