Default First jeep ever...what to do? What to do?

I have always wanted a jeep, and now I finally have one. I want to make some modifications, but I'm new to all of this. I have a 2008 jeep jk wrangler 4-door soft top. Everything is still stock....what should I do first? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Take your doors off! Then do some research on lifts, wheels, tires, etc. based on what you plan on doing with it. Mild off roading, extreme rock crawling. Whatever suites you.

Check out this thread that lists a bunch of low cost mods to get you started. If you plan to wheel, lift, wheels, tires and armor to get started. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...d-done-125817/

take your doors off lower the soft top and enjoy the breeze!!! I have met people that had the wrangler for 3 years and never even took the top off coz the dealer said it will damage it. so enjoy it!! then tires, wheels and lift are basic mods

I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to post that you have a new Jeep but not attach pics.

The doors will have to wait until spring because I live in Maine....it's a tad chilly out this time of year haha. I plan on mild off-roading and mudding. It's my primary vehicle so I can't get to crazy unfortunately.

Drive it awhile and figure out what you want your Jeep to be when you are finished modding..Be honest with yourself about how you are going to use your Jeep. Save a bucket full of money before you get started..Stick with your plan.. Good luck,I didn't..
