Ha no problem, I was on an exhaust kick for a month or two experimenting with a few setups. The factory muffler weighs maybe 30-40 lbs I'd guess

Have you had any change in performance or fuel economy with the muffler off. Did the check engine light come on?

What would you guys suggest as a replacement to a stock muffler with good sound and preferably a single exhaust? Flowmaster 40 series?

This is how they did it at the muffler shop. The tips aren't welded on yet. Let me know if you want me to zero in on something.

That clip does sound good!! The 44/40 series is their most aggressive sound, this chart might help.

Guess my 80 series is not that far behind in sound. I like it not being too loud.

Sound is really tough because what is loud to one person, might be quiet to the next. The chart just tells you where you can expect to be.

I don't like drone and didn't want anything too loud so on my last truck I went with the 50series SUV and it was really quiet, I almost could not tell I had it on. I also put a 40 series on my old 2001 4Runner and you could hear me coming 2 blocks away!

Sounds clips (with headphones for optimal acoustics) are very helpful!
