Front driver coil spring rubbing
Can anyone explain why my sway bar link is rubbing my front coil spring? The passenger side is fine it seems. It also looks like the spring could be bowing towards the front, unless I'm just imagining it. I have a 4" lift that was installed by the PO and I think it's a pro comp. the first two pictures are the driver side, the third is the passenger. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Wow thats nasty.. deff a bowing going on.. though not as bad as others I've seen.. 4'' lift you say?.. gees.. any idea on the spacer you have if any or is all coil?.. could be the wrong coil.. I mean I hear stories of Jeepers wanting rubi coils for their sport or X etc.. in this case.. best see if you can find the coil numbers just to make sure it the correct coil for that location.. Also.. has anyone driven behind you to see if your riding side ways?.. I just see an improper lift.. You may have to think smaller/shorter coil with a spacer.. or is the spacer actually forcing the coil over.. checked alignment? I mean if you can live with the bow.. might think about the budget sway spacers were working on and shorten the sway link.. which would forced the sway bar down and away.
Looks like the link may be too short to me. You want the sway bar to be level with the ground or 5 - 10 degrees higher when at ride height. Too short a link can make the sway bar pretzel (flip around) during droop and that's never fun.
Things to check:
Is the axle centered (requires adjustable track bar).
Caster - the bow in the spring makes it look like you upper control arm may be adjusted too long or lower too short.

In all seriousness the first thing I noticed was your sway bar links are too short. They should be riding level or angled slightly upward.
Do you have an adjustable track bar? Check the left/right alignment of your front axle.
Have an alignment done, your axle might be turned forward (-castor) due to the tall lift. This might cause your coil to bow forward. Shorten your front UCA's to bring it back to spec. Also double check your LCA lengths to make sure they are the same.
4" is a lot of coil, you'll need a lot of other items to make it work properly. Hopefully ProComp included them...

If the arms are stock without drop brackets at 4" of lift It's gonna tilt pinion up and bow the springs forward.
It also appears like it's bowed laterally too like the axle is pushed more to the driver side because it looks like there's more room on the pass. Side.
Both variables will cause contact

A lot to reply to:
Coil sag: I'm replacing the coils ASAP, mostly likely within a week or two.
Adjustable track bar: I do not have an adjustable track bar and this is what I thought the problem might be actually.
Control arms: they are not stock but also not adjustable. And I'm REALLY hoping I don't need to replace the control arms.
Would getting new disconnects also help?

Just get the control arm drop brackets then. It will help the caster and improve the ride as well. The only down side is they reduce clearance underneath.
Adjustable discos in my opinion are better than spending money on fixed links. You can dial them in better and quick disco...what's not to love.
