Thought that what it was... I can still thorough it back in that way right? Just won't have front lockers? So I need to find a used one with a good magnet and switch it out?

I would cut the wires off so the block won't flop around and get caught on anything.
It was bent back nit seated in like the ine in the picture. .
That's the source of your breakage, then. The magnet was allowed to spin.
It usually just breaks off the wires, though.
Has your differential ever been apart in the past?

The online time its been open was to change out the deff covers Attachment 422387
The tab definately didn't keep the magnet from rotating. I've seen this a few times before, but why the magnet rotates with enough torque to displace the tab is a mystery.
