I'm very happy with mine too. I'm running the Premium Fuel tune, and still getting a 2mpg increase on my 08' Rubi Unlimited.

Is this taken from miles driven divided by amount to fill up?

For the sake of not arguing, let's just suppose I believe the rest of what you said (the deleted part). Where did you get this number (90%)? If I'm to believe the rest of what you say, please convince me that "about 90%" isn't some pulled-out-of-thin-air number.

Edit--I cleaned up my language--you didn't deserve that.

Calm down, if you love it then cool, meant no offense to those who spent the money on it. But I'm very familiar with the product, like most that know better we don't have to "have it" to "know" about it. We dyno-tuned our race cars (fbody's) because everyone who ever used the hyper hated them because they did no more than adjust fan-temp, auto shift points, and minor fuel/spark mapping....very minor, etc. One doesn't have to use a product to know it's worthiness. That being said Unichip and a couple of others on the market have come up with a better system.

I'm very calm. You were just ridiculously negative on a pro-Hypertech thread, so I was wondering if you actually had any real-world, personal experience to share, or if it was all pointless bashing. I see it was the latter.

Your opinion is just that: an opinion. I'm not going to change yours, and you're not going to change mine. Bottom line is that I'm using the Hypertech Max Energy and really liking the results, as are a number of other folks on the site, and your negative opinion doesn't change the fact that it works very well in my JK.

Oh, and BTW: An f-body and a JK are two very different animals.

I have the Hyper..I no longer need to run the Jeep at screaming redline RPM's to get it to move up to traffic speed which is a plus. However, I would'nt say that it adds very much horse power overall. Rather, I think it just remaps the power band to give you more of the power at lower RPM's.

again you know how??

the unichip reviews SUCK, its supposed to give you twice as much gains as the Hypertech, yet the reviews say the gains are similiar to what you get with the hypertech

lots of people have the hypertech and love it, myself including. there is no need to bash this product just because it didnt do anything for your fbody car

Glad it works well for you, perhaps they've done more to them since 2007 Fbody Vs. Wrangler, etc all use an OBD-II pcm, same principles. My negative feedback for "JK's" is based on a couple of JK'ers who disliked them but am glad it works well for you....

it's ok....relax....
