I really don't understand why people feel the need to bash a product when they don't have personal experience with it... but to each their own, I guess. me.

I clarified with what I heard from a couple of fellow JK'rs and my own personal experience and also that I didn't mean to offend anyone on this thread, if you're feelings are still hurt after that, I can't help you. If it works for you then ....super....can't make that any clearer

Moving right along, how do you like the AirRaid? I have a 2-dr, wife wants a 4-dr Rubi and she hates the power or lack thereof. Hell I might just have to get a Hypertech for her Jeep

Are you for real? "If my feelings are hurt?" Nope - not me. If I lived my life looking for other people's approval, I'd be one sad dude.

I like the Airaid a lot. I suppose you probably think it sucks too but I'm really happy with it. I've been in deep (3 foot+) water with it without issue, and I gained a solid 0.5 - 1 MPG after I installed it. Realistically, I saw an increase of about 2 MPG after installation, but that coincided with engine break-in, so I'm discounting the gain by 50%. A side benefit: I've been told on 2 separate occasions by fellow JKers that my JK almost sounds like it's got a V8.

For anyone with some $$$ that's burning a hole through their pockets, that's looking for some extra pep for their Jeep, I'd recommend a CAI/Programmer combo. Once I regear, I figure I'll have it made!

No I wasn't serious, was just trying to lighten the mood a little, I feel bad for stirring up a hornets nest, pretty peaceful guy I am .

To date I have really liked the AirRaid CAI system, I believe with the custom exhaust we put together it'd be a big improvement ...maybe 8 more ponies to the ground...probably 1/2 what the mfg claims . I need to regear to 5:13s down the road, can hardly notice the change with 4:10s and 35s, still able to gain mph going uphill....oh it's slow mind you but a gain nonetheless.
