I got a hold of tech support today, and my problem with Error Code #60 is related to other electrical draw -- so I've been instructed to disconnect from the battery any aftermarket items like offroad lights, radar detectors, satellite radio, amps, AiROCK, etc... so I'll try later tonight crossing my fingers.
Let us know what the user interface looks like in regards to shift points... (i.e. how exactly you're allowed to modify them). That'd be excellent info!

OK... so far it's crap!

I disconnected my winch cable to the battery, AiROCK (all 3 fuses), radar, satellite, fog lights, all 3 accessory fuses, and unplugged all cigarette lighter plugs... waited 5-10 seconds in between button pushes, like the freakin tech guy talked down to me about... and still no luck. Still get error 60. Looks like I have to wait again to discuss with Tech Support during business hours. Pisses me off when someone talks down to you like you're an idiot, but his solution results in the same fricken thing.

Looking on 4x4rockshop's site, they don't list shift points as one of the features... so that may not be good news.

Anyhow, another wait and see situation... I'll post what they say.

BTW... 'Important Note' listed on page 5 of the manual:
Some adjustable features listed on the following pages are
NOT applicable for all applications. The year, make, and
model of the vehicle will determine the feature set. During
the installation, only the available adjustable features for that
particular application will appear on the programmer screen.
Screens for each of the features may vary slightly from those
shown.

Nice!

Hasn't anyone else purchased this thing -- if so, any luck???

I think that was the politically correct way of saying adjusting shift points is out! Let us know what you find out after you get talked down to again by the ALMIGHTY TECH GURU

I bought one a couple of weeks ago and got the exact same dtc's and error codes as Histrung. I also disconnected the fuses in place for sat., acc, etc and got the same thing. The following monday I called Hypertech and got one of their techs on the phone. He said I should not have been sold that unit. He stated they did not have a Max power for any JK yet and the only option was just the accu pro which they make for tire size adjustment only. I called 4wd and spoke with them about why they advertise something and sell it when the manufacturer says it is wrong and will not work???? The answer was sorry we'll refund you if you send it back. Thanks alot ... I had to pay to ship it back. That was the first and last time I will buy anything from 4wd. I have bought tons of stuff from quadratech and had far better service and luck. BOTTOM LINE............DO NOT BUY THE HYPERTECH MAX ENERGY UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING AWAY 400 BUCKS...IF SO ....CALL ME

Sorry I'm a new guy to this forum so I haven't figured out how to do all the listing for mods and gallery yet. I have a 07 Rubicon. I was told by the guru at Hypertech it will not work on any JK models. It is believed the mistake made by 4wd was in the model # being 52001 and matching the accu pro which will work on a JK even though it is packaged for the dodge hemi such as the max energy. What a bummer!!!!!!

I had a funny feeling there wasn't a Max Power available for the JK yet. Hypertech's part number for it is exactly the same as the Pro Comp Accu Pro which only adjusts tire size and gear ratio.

Got mine and it didn't work, error code #60. It was part #52001. It said hemi on the side of the box. Now I'm sending it back to 4wd.com.

I have no idea how programmers work but...

'07 Auto X's came with 4.10 gears as did the tow package models
Mine had 245/75/16's on it, only about 1/2 inch difference from the 255/75/17

Would this really matter?

Ya, I have a bad taste from 4wd, too. I'll never do business with them again. They promise and promise only to screw you over.

Want to have fun? Try complaining about the service to their customer service deprtment. It's like talking to a brick wall.

Actually, the brick wall might help more and have a better personality.
