Hypertech ups the game!
From my understanding, the ECM in the 2011 is the same one being used in the 2012 & up models as well. So from a business standpoint, it means a lot.
Speaking for those of us with 2011+ year models, we've been waiting for over a year for a viable tuning option and everyone has failed to deliver. But rather than concentrating on the future, while waiting for other companies to eventually crack the security coding in the current MY ECM, vendors retool old technology. Fine...it'll earn them a little cash at least. Meanwhile, new owners are coming into the game every day and there is zero support for them. Great business strategy.
And no, Hypertech, I never said anything about you pre-selling units or making any promises of release dates, etc. Matter of fact, I haven't seen Hypertech say anything at all about working on a tuning option for the current ECM.
