My tolerances were good with the stock thrust washers and the spin test worked as it should. Just has that small thunk when turning tight and braking. Nothing wierd in 4 wheel drive or 2 high in mild turns.

I know the stock carriers are strong or I think we would have seen issues.

I believe if you go tighter tolerance with a thicker thrust washer that should work.

I should have just gone to SLC from the beginning on mine. Then I wouldn't be lighter in the wallet from selling a 3-day-used locker and rolling on an open front diff now!!! Doh!

Yeah, I should have too, even though it'd been a long ass drive, I'da got my jeep back quicker.

If you drove up the Alaska Highway from Dawson Creek in the last 15 years then yes, you did. I'm at mile 6 1/2.
