Not necessary for everyone. I have 4.10 with 37s right now and I'm not all that disappointed. I'd never go 5.13 unless I don't drive the highway at all... I get 15mpg with the 4.10 around town with a super chip,

Then it must be REALLY flat where you are. Where there's hills like where I am, you want at least 5.13 IMO and many others.

Btw, 5.13's work great on the highway. If you don't drive wanting to pass everyone and stick to the speed limit I can get 16-17 mpg.

4.88's was the compromise for 35's. 5.13's are the recommended. For 37's, 5.13's are the compromise. Lol. For autos of course. This is popular opinion but a few disagree.

For the lift I would find some experience Jeepers and see if you can do a lift party.......

For gears, unless said experience Jeepers are proficient in gears, it might be better to have those professionally done.

Make a thread and give people beer and they will come help... Gears definitely need to be done professionally... Don't wanna risk messing those up.

^ What he said.

That is how I got my lift installed, we had a lift party. If you don't have the work space/tools at your place make sure you make note of that and see if anybody is willing to offer up their garage space.

I just bought a few pizzas for everybody when we had my lift party, and we had a great time and I learned a lot. Plus, I made some really great friends! That is get to go wheel with now too!

Since you are in high school, don't know how you are going to supply the beer for everybody. Plus.....I doubt your parents would like it if a bunch of adults come over with a cases of beer and work on your Jeep in their garage. Might wanna make sure you have it at somebody else' house.
