Btw, 5.13's work great on the highway. If you don't drive wanting to pass everyone and stick to the speed limit I can get 16-17 mpg.

could i with minimal knowledge of cars, but instructions from the forum and what not, change my gears and install a lift. i cant weld at all, so im guessing that would be a problem, but i can follow directions
For gears, unless said experience Jeepers are proficient in gears, it might be better to have those professionally done.
yeah i dont really know any experienced jeepers
but the couple guys i do know who have souped up jeeps dont know how to do anything but change oil. could i find people on the forum who know alot about gears and lifts and do a lift party like that?
Make a thread and give people beer and they will come help... Gears definitely need to be done professionally... Don't wanna risk messing those up.
That is how I got my lift installed, we had a lift party. If you don't have the work space/tools at your place make sure you make note of that and see if anybody is willing to offer up their garage space.
I just bought a few pizzas for everybody when we had my lift party, and we had a great time and I learned a lot. Plus, I made some really great friends! That is get to go wheel with now too!
Since you are in high school, don't know how you are going to supply the beer for everybody. Plus.....I doubt your parents would like it if a bunch of adults come over with a cases of beer and work on your Jeep in their garage. Might wanna make sure you have it at somebody else' house.
