How about telling us how much you pay for it and how we can get it. I know sharing it with us on the net is asking too much but having a clue to get it will be welcome.

I just went to my dealer and had them order it for me.. You can place an order thru techauthority for $120... Standard FSM.. They are currently on backorder but I know a few who went ahead and placed the order and had their disc in only a few days.. The Dealer addition is an additional $100.. May not be worth the extra money but from what I have heard it does have some extra Testing and diagnostict features.. Only dealers can order these..

I understand your view on this but have only one question, if range selector error can be detect, it can be bypassed too. How the system can know that you are in high range or not if not by the t-c sensor, maybe another switch on the lever but I don't think they double it. As for the gain of that, you wouldn't gain much as you will stick with the speed limit. I agree with you, better solution will have to be found, maybe an aftermarket module to fool the computer. Time will tell as trial and error thing will let us understand better.

Just my two cents worth. Keep in mind that I am in Iraq and have yet to see a JK or any tech info other that the diagrams in this post. Assuming that the switches supply gound signal to the module, and the module supplies ground signal to the relays; you could always cut the wires leading to pins eight and forty two and connect them, them do the same with the wires going to pins four and forty one - this will give you total control of both lockers. However, the diagram shown does not show the circuit for the dash mounted indicator lights. Assuming that the module also switches these lights with a ground signal, you could simply connect the appropriate light wire to the same splice. If you were sneaky and did this inside of the loom six inches or so from the module and resealed the loom neatly no one would notice - unles you took the vehicle in for work to this system. If I had complete schematics, I am 100% certain that I could come up with a sure solution. This plan makes some assumptions of facts that I do not have. Just so you know I am not talking out of my a**: I am an ASE certified master tech, used to work for Chrysler, and have owned over twenty Jeeps (still have two). Hope this helps some. If you can verify or factually contradict any of my assumptions or want some more help, please ask - this place is very dull!!! :toung:
