They are new brackets that raise the lower shock mount and the lower control arm mount. The old control arm bracket is for reference on how much added clearacne you get.

The reason the high clearance mounts are not designed to be used with standard shocks is because it removes the stock lower control arm mounts/ shock mount shown in the picture above and replaces it with a high clearance control arm only mount. The picture with the coilover is a custom shock mount to make the high clearance brackets work without the evo lever. Moving the rear lower control arm higher allows the use of the same arms but relocates the upper mount to this. Which is what my end goal would be.

I've seen the brackets where they raise the LCA mounts(pic #2),but the other pic isn't the same and its not the Rock Star Skids that they offer. Maybe Evo has a new lower shock mount out?

It's a custom shock mount that does not come in the kit. Something that you would need to figure out and fabricate. Kit comes with control arm mount you would just need to add a shock mount to it.

Understood. It still keeps the LCA mount in the stock location but moves the shock mount back for clearance I assume?

It moves the lower control arm mount up and forwards. The shock mount we be located close to the same place the rock star skids would put it.

I understand, what was throwing me off was the pic you posted of the coilover, the LCA is in the stock location and the shock mount is moved back only. I understand what your end goal is though.

Just watched a video where the 3 link rear truss snapped off, while on the trail. Did not look like fun.
