I talked to Metal Cloak when my kit was on order. They told me that the stock bolts didn't need to be upgraded in their kit because the Duroflex joints don't beat on the bolts like other kits. Of course, Grade 8 bolts never hurt.

Just so you're aware... the stock bolts are actually stronger than grade 8 standard bolts.

I cant recall if ive seen some 12.9 and some 10.9. If there 10.9 There the same as a grade 8. A 12.9 would be stronger than a grade 8.

yep, mine are 12.9s (13') I don't know for sure on others, but don't know why they would change them.

Yup. Mine's the same. I installed the kit over the weekend. I had the same problem with installing the bracket. I had to remove the control arm bolt and top shock bolts (which I had just installed) to get it in. Wasn't happy having to duplicate work I had just done. I didn't finish til after dark so I didn't get to center the rear axle or torque everything down. I will get to do that tomorrow.

I've never had a problem with my rear trackBar bracket.

Not really a problem for me. More like the instructions were out of order. It should have said to install the bracket along with the control arm and before the shock.

kind of figured it was just my rig...Its designed a little to much for downtravel and not much uptravel. My setup I will probably have to cut out the old shock mount location for enough clearance when uptraveling. It also deosnt make sense to raise the rear trackbar 6.5 inches when the front is only raised 3.5. There supposed to be the same and match lift height...

Yeah that is true. I think they designed it that way so you would buy their 6 pack shocks but they are a little too pricey for me. I installed the Synergy Long Travel Upper shock mount on mine to gain some up travel back. As you can see in the pic above. Here's a link to the kit. http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...t-p-29226.html
