I put the RR relocation brackets on and I think they're fine. I only get to use a small portion of the passenger side so I set the mirror to show the blind spot in small part I can use. My door don't hit the mirrors at all when open. I don't want to have to go through the effort to put mirrors on/take off when removing/replacing the doors. A plus is that you don't have a mirror hanging off the door when it's stored in the garage or house, wherever you store them. It was strange at first not being able to use a mirror as much, but I adjusted in about ten seconds.

I ordered my RR relocation brackets last week, they should've been here yesterday, but not here yet. Putting them on as soon as I get them. Hopefully tomorrow. I usually don't use my passenger mirror much, as I turn my head to switch lanes because I never trust my mirrors enough as it is. If th visibility isn't good enough I'll just buy a little mirror for the blind spots so it'll help see more.

Dralphy- let us know what you think of them when you put them on.

And something that I just thought of, if the visibility is so bad on the pass side what if you only relocated the drivers mirror and left the pass mirror on the door so when you are doorless you will still be legal with your 1 on the driver side and won't have to worry about adding anything additional. I mean you would have to turn you head when changing lanes and what not but I think most of us do that anyways even with mirrors.

I too installed the RR relocation kit. But only on my drivers side due to the blind spot I read about on the forum. I kinda like the old school look of only having 1 mirror when the doors are off.

the only shot I could find

I think thats what I'm going to do. Just rock the one mirror when the doors are off. Makes sense to me. Thanks for adding the pic.

If you're looking to do just the driver side and not worry about the passenger side, here's a better option:

I run the American Outlaw mirror that just slides onto the hinge once the door is off. it is a little pricey but has been just fine for my preference

after 2 years though, the hinges are getting scraped up and had to replace the rusted out set screw after 6 months, but I was living directly on the beach during that time.

just installed the RR mirror Relocation brackets and here are some pic to show before and after

drivers side before:

drivers side after:

Passenger side before:

passenger side after:

closer view of passenger side:

as you can see the passenger side mirror is pointless so i only used the drivers side bracket and left the pass. side on the door.
