Default MOPAR 2" lift Kit!!!!!!!!!!

I was at my Dealer yesterday and the Parts guy said to one of the salesmen. "Did you see the new Jeep Lift kit? " Well, it is a 2" suspension lift that was picture to come with alot of parts , Coils, shocks, stabilizer, brackets and alot of other parts which looked to be for alignment etc. THe price is $1500 but will not void the warranty if installed by the dealer. Still waiting on estimate of labor hours. THe parts guy said Mopar finally released a lift kit and it will NOT void warranty if installed by a Dealer! 2" is what I was looking for and this will be my ticket. Expensive but like they say. You get what you pay for.

no, you don't get what you pay for - you get what rubicon express sells to MOPAR, and MOPAR adds 40% or some ridiculous margin on top.

I believe its RE that is doing all the MOPAR lifts, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

FYI, NO LIFT VOIDS YOUR WARRANTY.

warranty claims as always really lie with the dealer. If yours would honor it, that's great, but the next dealer might tell you to go pound sand.

Yes MOpar is just using RE lifts
I looked into the 3.5" lift kit from Mopar and the quote was $10,000
I asked the parts guy if that included installation new rims and 35" tires and he laughed at me... so I asked him to go to north ridge's site and and I showed him the actual price of the same lift.
He also told me that even if I bought a Mopar lift and had it installed in there shop some of the warrenty will still be voided.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but could you not buy the RE kit for about $450 and spend the other $1000 on an aftermarket warranty and be better off than relying on the dealer to cover it? Or maybe even put the $1000 in the bank and use it when you need repairs.

I would think getting it from a place like Northridge and either having someone install it, or better yet do it yourself would be considerably more cost effective than paying dealer markup.

I have no clue what the 2" suspension lift from RE would be. (actually didnt know they offered anything 2" except for the BB, but i havent looked at thier stuff as i went with TeraFlex a while ago to replace my 2" BB.)

I'd like to see the list of compomets it comes with. That's just crazy. If it comes with RE springs I can see it being close to maybe 750 but if its pucks what a joke.

Funny thing is that my Dealer says it is a brand new offering for Jeep , jUst came out and there is ONLY a 2" lift kit. Something is amiss.

The Mopar performance 4.5" kit part number is: P5155075. (roughly $4600 from Mopar, other places around $3000-3200k, as a price example)

the 2" offering may well be a new addition, but Mopar offering a JK kit is not new.

i wouldnt trust a dealer on much of anything.

From what I can find RE does not make a 2" coil lift. RE may be making the kit to Mopr Specs but it is a full-blown 2" coil lift kit which I can not find from RE. THe kit appears to come with the amount of parts of the RE 3.5 lift kit which sells for $1649. I am not arguing here but you guys may want to take a closer look. THis is not a Budget lft kit.
