Yeah, don't let the dealer shaft you... for that coin you can get a Rough Country 6in lift, and a driveshaft. Plus the dealer WILL screw you on the instal for something you can do yourself for free. On top of all that, the dealer would also have documentation that your jeep has a lift... Another dealer doesn't have to honor different dealers work....

Please check out this link. Doesn;t look likt a $400 BB lift kit to me. Correct me if I am wrong. from what I saw it matches up the the RE 3.5 lift kit for $1649. http://www.leeparts.com/jeep_wrangler/mopar_performance/suspension/2_inch_lift_kit.html

it obviously isnt a BB in that link, but for 2" the price seems very steep to me.

Wow what a rip. They're blowing smoke up your ass, a lift doesn't automatically void your waranty anyway. Plus the dealer with charge around 4 hours for labor.

kit in question:

no debate from me that it isnt a BB, but is $1500 worth it for a 2" coil lift?

to me, the answer is no; but some people like the "peace of mind" of dealer installed items, whatever makes you happy.

While it may not be a kit that RE sells outside of MOPAR, its RE none the less - which is no problem, but it just shows you that MOPAR is adding a lot on top and should be reason #1 not to buy it.

Wouldn;t it be the quality and completeness that would cost the money not the height?
