So you just pop the metal hangers through the rubber brackets (for lack of a better term) or vise versa? I have the bolt on the pipe clamp loosened and everything else soaking in WD40. Only 9k miles on my 2013, but with the mu sloppy mud and shit, everything is already pretty rusted.

Put a dab of oil on the mufflers hanger bars. Then use channel locks to push them through the rubbers. Twist and wiggle the muffler til it slides off the other pipe.

Yeah I got it, had to use pliers since I don't have much eke. Turned it into a pain in the ass 1 hour job, 50 of those minutes on the passenger side only. I haven't heard it yet, so it better be worth it.

Haha yea I got clay stuck under mine that's been sitting and is worse than rust.
If you have a nice air intake should sound good. But I guess it differs from everyone.

It's fun for a little while, gets old.. takes maybe 15 min to take it off and 5 to put it back on. Just try it if you're curious

If you have an auto it sounds good at idle, 1st, and 2nd gear. Everything past that Sounds horrible especially on the highway. Every time I tow something my jeep constantly downshifts and makes it so loud it's hard to hear music. But of say its a free and easy mod to check it out yourself. Who knows, you might like it.

My '13 is a 6-speed and it sounds okay when accelerating softly, but once you get on it, it sounds a bit too raspy for my liking. Had I paid for it, I'd be disappointed, since I didn't, it's easily overlooked. Cruising at around 1600 rpm sounds really good in the cab. Only being off for less than 24 hours, my opinion applies only from within the cab,I have no idea what it sounds like from the outside.

Startup sounds good, as does idle. It's not too loud. If and when I pay for an aftermarket exhaust, I wouldn't mind keeping the sound, but lowering the decibels a bit (I never wanted it to be loud) and without the rasp.
