Off Road Elements is incredible!
I ordered ace rails months ago which were backordered and they didn't let me know - it was up to me to realize they never shipped abd to find out what was going on. More recently my gf ordered me an sPOD for Christmas and an aev sweatshirt from NR. After their website update she wound up with two of the same sweatshirts in her cart and didn't realize it. They told her that they'd only refund the cost minus the shipping cost and that the shipping cost may make it not even worth send it back. The SPOD was ordered Dec 5 and spod is apparently having a supplier issue and yet again another item will not ship until January. I don't mind waiting because the people at spod have been absolutely awesome and I can understand the complications of dealing with suppliers as a small business. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication from Northridge. They absolutely suck in my opinion. I used to go out of my way to order from them over quadratec even though qtec stuff reached me next day and NR usually took about a week. After reading their return policy because of the sweatshirt issue I found that they never ever accept returns on lights or anything electrical, so that was kind of the final straw that told me not to deal with them anymore. Sure their prices are good, but it's just not worth the aggravation.
You are correct we do not accept returns on lights or electrical items. Long story but a decision I made.
Also all we ask on returns is you cover the original shipping and the shipping back to us. no restocking fee is ever charged if it is within the time

Have never ordered from Northridge but appreciate the way you tactfully respond to Forum issues. In this economy, customer service is going to help differentiate Winners/Losers and I appreciate the effort I'm seeing from Dave. Not to say ORE isn't JUST as good, but there is plenty of room on the forums for more than one "best place to buy from" and competition is Always better for the consumer.
I actually live near Offroad Elements and have wheeled with Eric. Great guy and he's even helped me install some stuff on my Jeep that I bought elsewhere. My only complaint about him is you can hear him from 3 miles away with his new 37" mud grapplers he put on his JK.
And even with all the ridicule I get from guys in my club about my limb risers, I stil think they are one of the best products I have bought considering the types of trails we run here in New England.

I never got a card from ORE :(
To be fair though, I've only ordered lug nut brake lights from them... which I haven't put on yet and owe that thread some pictures, sorry Eric!
Customer service for that and the follow up was at least awesome considering how cheap they are.
Northridge has also been great to deal with since that seems to have been brought up. I deal with Stan since I'm up in Canada, he is pretty awesome too
EDIT: Forgot to mention, writing the card itself is a really nice gesture. Not many folks put the time into writing it out by hand with all the ecards floating around.
