Possible to lower a JK?
thanks for a good response, cutting springs just doesnt work well, the ride will go to shit and the springs will lose all their strength
I actually found something on the jcwhitney site that im going to research a bit to see if that will work. I might just end up going with some shorter diameter tires as well, possibly 28" if that doesnt mess up the final drive ratio too much, stock on the JK X with the c package is 29" diameter on the 16" wheels.

nah bro I ordered that shit in pink with a flame comming out the exhaust
of course I got a black one, about to order the black wheels to go along with it
just trying to research what the lightest wheel tire size combo will work

they are pushing close to 1200 hp in the drag neon cars so its been done with the 2.4 liter motor (possibly stroked or bored to 2.6)
ummm as for street driven cars, the AMS Turbo SRT-4 is pushing close to 800hp at the wheels, I think they hit close to 760 but I could be wrong, check their website for the actual dyno numbers

Was that the one Burnsville Offroad built? I always joked that if I ever sank real money into my XJ, that's what I would do to it. Didn't realize that something like that could be done.
Here is Burnsville's:

When I graduate in a few years and can afford a new JK, that's what I'm planning on doing (that is, if a suitable factory alternative isn't available by then).
