ScorpionKing, you are wanting additional info on this kit but what are you wanting to know. I will be more than happy to answer any question you have. I am actually running this new 3.5 on my 4-door and love it. Its been on the Jeep for about 20,000 miles and the only issue I have had is the stock tie rod ends are junk from factory.
I had some minor issues but have come to conclusion that most are due to worn parts. Experienced death wobble and decided to order a JKS adjustable track bar. Helped with the issue but am still going to have a local welding shop weld washers to true the holes and add additional support to the brackets. After the lift was installed about 2 weeks later my right rear spring started to bow. I took a good look at the rear spring perches I noticed it was due to increased height and diff angle increasing. Orderd a pair of Rock Krawler degree wedges and problem solved. ALso due to the rear spring issue the ride quality suffered and was extremly bouncy. Now that the springs are properly seating the ride has definetly firmed up. Next mod is rear spring retainers to ensure the springs dont come unseated. I forsee a front drive shaft needed ordered as CV boot has started to slighty leak. I didnt have a problem before the lift. Even with a manual transmission there is a slight change you will have this problem.
What they're comparable to, control arm strength, bushing strength and durability, shock construction and travel, coil strength and durability in both the compressive and extended positions, constant rate coils or progressive rate, etc... have you been getting any returns on this lift or have you found a possible weak link in it with any returns or phone calls?
How's it selling? Is it quite popular or is the X series a better choice?

Durability ??? It has a lifetime warranty on all parts INCLUDING shocks. No one else offers that extensive of a warranty. Even RK's warranty is not as good.
The X series has the adjustable control arms. So, if you compare the 2 kits, decide if you want adjustable control arms. If so, get the X kit because it is less expensive than buying the arms separately. All else is pretty similar.
If you read the other posts, there is a common theme about the rear springs bowing (as with every other lift brand), so get the rear coil wedges as well. Most people say the ride is better than stock.
I was so impressed with the looks, ride, and flex of kesmith8's jeep, I ordered mine on Friday. I was looking at a few different lifts, but with the shocks and everything else included in this lift and having driven a jeep with it installed it was a no brainer for me. Can't wait to get it installed and I'll post afterward!! This will be the first lift I've installed (with help from friends!!). Wish us luck!
I have the RC 4 inch kit with 35x12.50x17's. I used the Front LCA's instead of the crappy cam bolts. I measured the front lower arms myself and got my pinion angle set pretty close. I still took it to a shop and had it checked. The kid who dialed it in works for a major off-road desert racing suspension manufacturer and he told me I was pretty close to dead on with my adjustment. I have had my JKU up to 100 MPH on the highway with no death wobble issues. One thing you may want to check is your rims. If you are using aftermarket rims they may be hubcentric, thus need hubcentric rings to center the rim on the end of the axle. I run ProComp 1089's and recently had some wobble in my steering wheel. I bought new tires this weekend and the guy at the shop told me I needed hubcentric rings with those rims. Without the rings the only thing centering the rim on the end of the axle is the lug nuts which can loosen and cause the wheel to be slighty off center and causing "death wobble" issues. It could also be a worn out trac arm mount hole. I believe the hubcentric issue is probably one of the most overlooked causes of "DW". Hopefully this helps.
I ordered a 3.5" Series II kit and an adjustable track bar to go with it on advice from another forum member with the same lift. It should be in Wednesday or Thursday and I'll be installing it the day after it gets to me!
I went with the RC kit mainly because of the price for the components you get. This is my daily driver and while I do off road with my Jeep I won't be doing any "hardcore" wheeling with it. Thus I was more than comfortable with what RC provides for the price, besides, anyone that has had issues with there lift has had awesome service from RC for getting things fixed. Good prices and great service make it the perfect choice for me.
I know a lot of people feel that you get what you pay for when it comes to Jeep components, and while that may be true in some cases, there are also many manufactures that charge a premium to pay for their name while they all source the parts from the same Chinese factories for the same cost. Some companies just choose to make a little less profit of each unit in exchange for selling more. Less expensive doesn't always equal less quality.
