Where can you get the blind spot mirror? First day driving with these and while it is not a big deal, the reduced visibility, it would be nice to see quickly without the lean...again would be nice, but not necessary.

Any autoparts store. Get the 2inch size. I use them on both of my mirrors and they are great.

I have had mine for a couple of years now and I still love them. I do the same thing hiddenprey does, although I leave my driver side on all year. The passenger side sits in the back with a wrench waiting for the doors to come off.

I installed mine but couldn't handle only seeing partially out my passenger window. Now I role half and half. Driver side RR passenger side stock. I almost used the passenger side bracket for a CB antenna mount, but put In the rear on my RR highlift jack holder. which if anyone is interested, you can not fit a smiTtybilt jack on this holder.

The sad thing is that if I had made them with the Dumbo ears I would be typing this reply to why they were so freaking ugly... You just can't please everyone...
Didn't mean to make you feel bad, dude. Sorry! I'm perfectly happy using just the driver side bracket. I miss the passenger mirror when the doors are off, but I can live with it. Visibility isn't too bad when the top is off!

No feelings hurt, just wanted to give the story... We may be looking into a Gen II version in the the next year... Got to see what becomes of the mirrors for 2012 first. Maybe we can look at it again and address these complaints. We have added two other engineers and have better CAD than we did back in 2006.

Just getting the shape correct to keep them from whistling at 60mph killed 2 of the designs. Another aspect was the placement of the mirror in relation to the front doors when opened. This alone forces the mirror head to be pointed in a set position. Next came the look of the mirror... We wanted something that also looked half way decent. I had 2 of the designs made so that the mirror heads were further away from the A-pillar (windshield). They looked like Dumbo ears so a compromise had to be made.... In the end 1/3 visibility was far better than the whistling Dumbo ears. I can take some comfort in knowing that this design gives you more visible mirror on the passenger side than any previous relocation kit used on YJ's - TJ's... Thank you for not designing an ugly, dumbo eared, whistling piece of junk. My jeep was meant to stay on the ground, not flying through the air whistling dixie
