Hehe. In fact I agree our built JKs are not to be optimized for mpg - in fact we did buy a vs tdi as our other car!

With the price of the needed mods, maybe he should consider instead putting the money into trading up to a 2012 or 2013? I have a stock 2012 JKU sport with 3.73 rear and manual trans. I tow a toy hauler as seen in my avatar. Fully loaded its around 4500 pounds. Don't hijack this thread by bashing me for exceeding towing limits. The jeep liberty is rated for 5000 Pounds. I am perfectly comfortable pulling with my JKU.

Ordered almost everything. I love my JK and just wanted to make sure I was putting the money into the right stuff. The 2012 engine isnt for me, I will most likely be doing a diesel swap in the next year. Time will tell! Thanks so much for everyones advice.
