But there's my rant so enjoy!
Mine has that same noise with a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate. OEM thrust and pinion bearings, though. Hate to think I have to replace those just to get rid of a minor noise. Already tried the slave cylinder, which definitely sounds very loud on the stethoscope, and it didn't fix. On the bell housing with the stethoscope, I barely hear the noise. Hmmm. I wonder if there could be a run of bad slave cylinders? When I have some time, I might pull it out and try actuating the clutch to see what happens.

Yes. And it looks like you have a bit of a leak there.

Brake cleaner can make quick work of that.

Did you ever figure out what was causing the noise

I fixed the squeaky slave cylinder problem by taking it apart, cleaning it, and then re-assembling with some brake assembly lube. I believe it's a rubber (seal) against plastic (housing) friction issue, and the assembly lube + new fluid did the trick. Tip on disassembly: it's held together with plastic tabs on the rod-end.

After the sixteen or so water crossings during the f-stop Arkansas run a couple months back, my noise stopped and hasn't returned. Love it when my Jeep fixes itself!
