I've pulled my rig through stuff like this with 35s on a bone stock D30 with no problems...they call it finesse.

The issue with C's (this goes for d30 and d44 as they are the same tubes and ends) is the leverage you are getting with your tire. The bigger distance from the hub and outside edge where you have traction creates more leverage.

Imagine if you were trying to bend a C with a 16" (largest stock tire from hub to ground) bar. Using an 18 1/2" bar gives you more leverage.

Any side load on the tire is amplified the larger the tire.

Okay anyone saying you cant run 37's on a reinforced dana 30 is stupid. Sure you could have a pr44 or a 60 or something that is better but you will be fine offroading 37s on a 30. Ive done it and I go out with a ton of people who do. And youre not even looking to do that youre just asking about pavement... I am running 40's with steel wheels on the 30 while I build my Dana 60 axle. So to all the people who say you cant wheel a 30 with 37's or any of that bull.

Idk if nvertflyer is a troll or just a douche? Both are equally bad. He's just another "hardcore" wheeler for all of us commoners to admire.

Nope just thinks that because he has seen a few D44 and D30 break in his neck of the woods he has seen it all. It is what it is, there are more people on this sight who have done 37s with a D30 and got away with it than a D900 like him. Perception is reality and his perception is all people will break anything smaller than a D900 will fail. And I'm sorry I don't have pics, I don't stop at angles to take pics of my jeep, I do it for my entertainment not to prove a point.

Nope he just always has to go keyboard commando, I'm Lord of the Rock on everyone whenever there's a thread like this. I've seen it numerous times, even with useful information nobody cares because of the overall attitude it's delivered with. Knowing something and helping others with it and knowing something and being extremely arrogant about it are two very different things.

Do it do it do it!!!!! Hey man I'm not like some of the guys here building rigs left and right lol but I will tell what I have and has happened to me. I have a X with hankook dynapro Mt load range e ok. This was my baby and only vehicle. I drove it on the road all the time With no problems. The most I would go wheeling is twice a month on trails like John bull deep creek in big bear. Now that's When my Jeep started to feel the 37s I broke a u joint My steering box started leaking and that's it. after a while on the road my ball joints all tie rod ends when t to Shit but other than that that's it. You should be fine on the road. But expect to replace/upgrade items real soon

IMO.....37's on a stock sport with ZERO offroading will be fine...

Although you will need a lift and fender work...

Also you will 1000% need gears...
