Yes and sorry for the delay in getting back to you with those details.

I spoke with management and our Jeep engineers about this feature and after going through the pros and cons of the idea they concluded that even though 4-HI locker features are feasible durability testing says it is not safe enough of an option that we would feel comfortable enough to offer. Aside from decision from our team a consult to our legal team also provided similar results. There is too much of an opportunity for issues with liability to go forward with this kind of feature.

Sorry the news isn’t as you had hoped.

Thumbs down

It seems their only priority is to keep stringing people along in order to sell more superchips. Now my vehicle as well is affected by severe pinging. I've since returned to stock, waiting for a remedy, which I am NOT holding my breath for. I don't mean to knock this company, but I am very upset that this ping issue has been around for a while, and it only seems to be getting worse and affecting more and more people. Who cares about lockers when vehicles are potentially running in a damaging state of tune due to their product.

Hey Guys - this may have already been posted but I didn't see anything. I have 2 JK's and I'm curious if I can use one flashpaq on both or do I need to purchase one for each? Thanks,

You can use it on 2 JKs, just not at the same time.

Thanks for the response guys! Just to make sure I understand, I can't do a 91 or 93 octance tune on one JK and then do it on the second JK to have both tuned at the same time, correct?

Correct! Only one vehicle at a time can be programmed with the Flashpaq. The majority of what you are paying for is the software and intellectual properties that make up the program, not the physical hardware. It's really not any different than software license agreements with computer applications, just that there is a piece of hardware to make it work.

No, only one JK at a time. It is not per tune but per Jeep.

Is the pinging caused by the superchip or fuel not being the octane it is advertised at?
