So, whats the bottom line? Is it worth it to purchase this thing or not?

Thanks,

They just released the TPMS function and it seems to work (down to 20psi anyway)!

I guess it depends on your setup and how you drive, but the vast majority of users will see performance increases and driveability improvements.
It's not going to make up for the fact that you may drive an auto with 35" tires and stock gears, however. But on the 6-speeds, it's almost a godsend if you have the 3.73 or 4.10 gears.
Keep in mind the 6-speed Rubicon with it's 4.10 gears in 6th is about equal to the auto and 4.88s in repect to rpms, and 4.88s are pretty much the minimum for a Jeep with 35" tires and the auto 4 speed.

Since I do a fair bit of interstate commuting at speeds of 75-85mph, I'm very pleased with the 6-speed, 4.10 gears and my 35" Toyos, but get your Jeep geared as correctly as possible for your location/driving style, then get the Superchips.

OK got mine today from the special at 4WD.

Was sceptical at first, and took two times for the speedo program to take.

Once done, I must say, now this 3.8l is finally respectable. Yes, a noticable difference. Very pleased, and impressed. Not a hemi or a RIPP, but the next best thing.

Isnt it supposed to allow you to run the lockers in 4Hi? If so, I could not find that option on the menu. How do you do that with the programmer?

Thanks,

That's a Rubicon only feature.

All the gas you can get contains some measure of ethanol. My best results have been simply choosing one filling station to get my fuel and the PCM gets pretty dialed into it. Unfortunately, different things going on with where I'm driving and what I'm going to be doing for the next tankful, I would rather opt for the right tune/Octane and make the PCM figure it out all over again.

Thanks for the link. I followed what is posted, but still have the error on the programmer. I uninstalled all superchips programs inlcuded the "Easy Update" then re-installed it hoping thar would clear it. I turned off my firewall in addition to the changes I made to other settings as suggested on the link JPop sent and ran the update once more. I sent SC an email and a technician replied telling me to turn off the firewall. I sent an email back letting him know I turned it off and am still getting the error - - no reply.
Anyone know how to reset the programmer or what I need to do? I am more than frustrated with all the time spent on this and no results.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I just wanted to take the time to stop and thank JPop and the others for the Flashpaq recommendaton. Jeep really feels alive now that I've got it installed. Worth the money!
