Am I the only one who cares about using the lockers in 4H? Isnt the Flashpaq supposed to allow that feature? Mine doesnt.

Anyone know how to reset the programmer or what I need to do? I am more than frustrated with all the time spent on this and no results.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Bright and early Monday morning give them a call. They open at 8am EST. 888-227-2447, option 6, ext 7277 which will get you to Ron Rapp. He'll get you straightened around and make sure you get a case #.

I'll give them a call. JPop, thanks for your help. Once I get this taken care of I'll load it up and report back. I have a trip to the mountains planned for next weekend and am anxious to see how it handles.

NOPE... I care too...

My Flashpaq does have the ability to activate my rear locker in 4HI but ONLY while it is connected to the Jeep and you have to activate the lockers from the Flashpaq itself. I'm disappointed about this but I still think this Flashpaq is worth every penny. I'm really hoping they update the Flashpaq to allow locking in 4HI just like 4LO - with the simple push of a button & without the Flashpaq connected!

Well, that sucks.

I was going to buy the superchips flashpaq, but there's no way I'm going to until they allow the lockers to be used in 4HI WITHOUT the flashpaq installed. So it was like a normal factory feature.

i set mine at 87 octane performance and when i was towing my sandrail i notice that in reverse the trans would chatter. i didnt have the superchip to change the setting to see if it was the setting that was the problem or the actual trans. so has anyone experience my problem?

Just a note that the tow setting is for 91 octane and I made the same mistake. I need to make sure to send them a note on that so we get some dialog on the tuner.

As for the chatter in reverse I can't figure out how that would be related to the Flashpaq.

OK, I went through this this morning.

First step update the Flashpaq.
Go to "Additional Functions"
Go to "Advanced Features"
Go to "Axle Lock Enable"

It indicates that you can do front or rear, but only through the tuner. I only went to the Yes/No selection and picked no, since I don't need them locked atm.

I hope this helps!

So you have to go through the tuner huh? That is what I was afraid of...Let me get this straight...the programmer rips the stock tune from the computer. Saves it to tuner. uploads new and improved tune to computer of jeep. I cruise around with it tuned and when I need my axles locked in 4hi, I have to get the thing out, plug it in and go through what kind of process? How long does it take? ( just to lock axles in 4hi)

Couldn't they write the program to where you don't have to have the tool plugged in? That is a turn off for me.

However, I still want the product.
