Superchips Flashpaq for JK, Initial Impressions
"If you have a GPS, select your tire size using it. A lot of people have had some erroneous tire size numbers even when using the recommended SC way to measure them. Besides that, it could be some PCM catching up, but I have always noticed an immediate improvement when going from stock.
Your right about this. I have fairly new 35x12.50/17 KM2's. I had to go to 33.25 inches on the Tuner to get the correct reading compared to the GPS. It is now dead on.[/QUOTE]
33.25 for my Toyo 35's and the speedo is within 0.5 mph of my GPS.
So I just got mine...and I'm not impressed! Background:
32" tires on 3.73's Automatic
Going topless/Doorless to Jeep Run today
One of the primary reasons I got this was to help my JK from searchin for gears. I had a Procal on it at first which helped GREATLY. I moved the JK back to stock and installed the 87 performance tune, calibrated the tires and did not touch anything else. I don't notice a friggan difference! The whole way to my Jeep run today it was searching for gears and primarily staying in 3rd while doing between 70-75. I haven't felt a difference between the Procal and this...I'm confused
I know that regearing is the only way to get it back to close to stock but I can't afford it right now so please do not mention that. Maybe I just set my expectations too high.

If it still doesn't perform how you want it to, then maybe the procal is best for you.
COMPLETELY AGREE WAS I JUST POSTED THIS ON ANOTHER THREAD:
been running the 91 for a couple days no 93 octane gas around here and can not tell the difference from the 87 setting (which I love by the way) I did notice some good MPG though; 19mpg at 70 mph on flat ground. and 19.4 at 65mph. I was getting 17 with hypertech at 65 and 16.5 at 70 mph, however when I first used my hypertech my numbers were about the same. I think the jeep computer finds away to compensate with fuel mixture and negate the mpg after a while. I am a very consistant driver and my commute is the same everyday. Unless I try some octane booster that will raise me 2 full points I will go back to the 87 which is increadible. I will keep messing with the active features you can use while driving, but my 0-60 times are embarrasing so this is the last report on those. (I know not a racecar whatever)
Stock: Unknown 0-60
87 tune: Running 87 gas 11.84 with and without O/D 0-60
91 tune: Running 91 gas 11.25 with and without O/D 0-60
93 tune: Unknown (no 93 octane gas to run) 0-60
Tow tune: Unknown I drive freeways everyday this probably will be worse for my commute.

That's funny, I just went to the tow tune thus weekend also. I already had 91 in the tank and decided to run this for a month or so. Trying to give each a couple tankfulls before deciding which to stick with. The tow tune seems to be a pretty good little tune for around town. I'm not towing anything, but thought I would check results anyway.
One and the same as far as I know. The Quicktune settings will set everything needed automatically whereas the advanced tune will allow you to adjust other options such as gearing, tire size, and a few other options.
edit: or, what locklain said
I towed my 18' Skeeter bass boat this weekend for the first time with my '09 Unlimited Rubicon (auto). Stock everything except for front bumper and 3/4" front lift. I was disappointed to have to switch the O/D off, as I was unable to hold 70 mph (GPS) with cruise without hunting for gears quite frequently, even on dead flat surfaces.
Once I switched O/D off, all was well, but boy did my mileage take a beating (ended up an indicated 11+ for the 200 mile trip, and I know the computer is optimistic). I know a RAM diesel is a better tow vehicle, but it ain't in the cards. I also know there's no such thing as a free lunch, and towing with anything short of a diesel will put the hurt on mileage. That said, I feel like I would "maximize" my experience if I could get the boost necessary to run at highway speeds in top gear.
So, has anyone with the Superchips Flashpaq actually towed anything? If so, care to share?
Oh, I should say that I won't be ordering it, regardless of whatever else it does, if it can't defeat my boat trailer's TPMS sensors - sorry, couldn't resist.
