I did notice an increase in the throttle responce as far as the engine braking goes. There isn't any more of it, it just comes on a lot faster than before.

Just like the TPMS "upgrade" we're still waiting on, (the ability to turn it off), I expect an upgrade in the locker control as well. It probably has to be accompanied by all that legal mumbo jumbo our "sue anybody for anything/everything" society requires, thanks to all those crooked politicians and lawyers.
Face it, we're lucky to get anything, including the factory override switch for ESP, thanks to the efforts of all those legal eagles and their frequently crooked clients.

After running 1K+ very satisfactory miles on the 91 tune I'm going to give the 93 tune another try. Another enthusiast messaged me that he found the "latest" tune to be superior to the earlier one he (and I?) were running. And asked me if I'd give it a try as well.

Will keep you guys updated.

Okay, I'll ask here on this thread. What's the big deal with having lockers engaged in high? Why would you want to do something like that?

Lockers in Hi

Mudding - Sometimes you want to spin the tires very fast so the tires will dig through and the treads will self-clean by slinging the mud off.

Sand - I definately prefer 4-Hi over 4-Lo for tire speed.

Now you can be locked with that higher speed.

Thanks, been wondering. I stay pretty much in the rocks myself.

Seer1 has got me convinced I need one of these things. lol. Anyone wish they hadn't bought it? Any reason you would not recommend it? Like bugs?

Nope. Happy with mine. I do wish it had the 4high locker override and Tpms though. Those are features it should have. Especially for the price they charge.

It's for FUN! And MUD can be fun! So can fire roads, dirt roads, and so forth.
I'd like the rear locker in 2-HI as well, while they are at it.

Didn't you ever have a posi unit in the back of a grossly overpowered and over geared hot rod or pony car? Remember when it took a surgeon's touch with your foot on the throttle, in the rain, with 494 Cubic Inches (my stroked & bored aluminum big block Chevy), 4 speed, 4.88 gears, those old McCreary "treaded" slicks 15.5" wide, and two Holley double pumpers, both with front and rear 50cc accelerator pumps. This was back in 1975, an old lowered SS 396 '69 Camaro, rear cut up for tubs and a narrowed pro-stock rear end. No exactly Al Gore's favorite car.

Two high is great for doing continuous tight donuts! (in the mud or snow, not enough horsepower on the asphalt) My ARB lockers engage whenever I want them...

Hey Lee, Are you running a Flashpaq now?

If so, thoughts on it running with a pretty heavy JK?

Also, I know you were a bit disappointed in the 6 speed/4.88s in the D60s, anything change on that front? Would you go steeper having it to do over again?
