Default swing away for stock bumper?

there has got to be a thread on this already, but I cant find it. can somebody help?
Im looking for a swing away that mounts to the stock bumper.
This isnt a money issue, I just want to keep the plastic bumpers, and dont want my spare to rip off my tailgate.
Its a little on the heavy side. lol.

Also, I think I have seen tailgate mounts that are supposed to support up to a 37, but how is that any different than what the stock mount does?

Any help would be appreciated!

Looks good Brian!!!

I have the Mopar off-road bumper and tire-carrier. Looking at the way the tire-carrier mounts it's entirely possible that you could use it on the stock bumper with a little bit of work.

Nothing I know of that mounts to the factory bumper, the Or-Fab one as mentioned above is very popular & removes the weight from the tailgate.

i doubt the factory bumper would support much of anything besides itself.

Personally I am going for the full bumper replacement on the rear, if not, i would probably get the orfab myself.

Me too! Love mine. The weight is not on the door hinges anymore, it is supported by the ORFab Carrier Hinge!

Hanson also makes a independent tire carrier. It still mounts to the tailgate but it claims to reduce the stress to your tailgate. Still think I like the look of the OR FAB one better though.

I thought the point was to reduce the weight/stress on the tailgate hinges? It looks like that would be almost exactly the same if not more weight. Am I missing something?
