Get the TF 2.5" coil lift, install whats in the box, torque everything down, and your done. Nothing more, nothing less. You can search out my detailed review here somewhere...

Call Dan @ offroadwarehouse.com for a great deal...

I am planning on the TF coil lift as well. I do have one question...

How good of an on road ride is the TF 2.5 kit? More specifically, living in San Diego the freeways are cement in 8ft blocks and they are pretty bumpy. My Stock handels it pretty well, is the TF stiffer causing a more rough ride?

If you're only going with a 33" (or possibly 34") tire, why not consider the Teraflex Leveling Kit? (Although they now have a coil and spacer version of it too, so you'd still be in the same predicament there too...)

But if you're sold on the 2.5" kit, I'd still recommend going with the coils over the BB. Like you said, do it right the first time and avoid having to buy it twice!

excellent question - because the roads here in Rhode Island for the most part are absolutely terrible as a result of the politicians, etc. lining their pockets with our tax $$ instead of spending it where it was meant to go. Oops that could VERY easily turn into a major rant, sorry.

So, 2.5 coil owners how IS the on road ride?

Because I already have a daystar 1-3/4" all around BB, and I don't want to go shorter, If any thing I want to be just a little taller.

And exactly, that is why this whole process is taking so long, is because this time I want it to be right the first..err.. second time.

If you offroad and want better offroad performance, then get the coils. If you don't offroad, or are happy with your current offroad performance and don't feel the need for any extra suspension travel, then the BB will be less expensive for you. Each Jeep owner needs to make up their own mind about what's important to them...offroad performance, onroad manners, and the bottom line.

The OME coils and shocks are OUTSTANDING...but understand that OME is not really a 2" lift. You're probably looking at 3" of lift or more, and as you've already said you may have to consider driveshafts with that amount of lift. Also undersand that when you lift 3" or more, you will probably also want to start adding other parts...track bars, brake lines (or brackets), sway bar links, bumpstop extensions, spring retainer clips, and some front control arms to keep your caster in line...the cost adds up...but the performance difference can be HUGE if you do it right.

Here's my rig with 3 inches of OME lift. I ended up paying far more for three inches of lift than a lot of people...but I also got a lot of performance. Watch the front left tire from about 00:19 to 00:27.

I do a fair amount of offroad, some pretty challenging. So, I want an improvement, but I also don't want to hurt the on road TOO bad.

btw - your jeep is officially a SICK machine! holy articulation batman! Nice Driving!!

The nice thing about the OME suspension is that if you get the appropriate parts with it (trackbars, control arms) you will not have ANY issues at all with your on road performance. Just like any lift, it will raise your center of gravity a little bit, I actually find my rig more comfortable on the road now than it was stock.
