Thanks Hammer. Just realised I posted this in the wrong thread as I installed the performance levelling, should be the same outcome though. Thank you for the insight and saving me money to have someone 'fix it'.

I installed this kit last weekend. It was easy to install using the one corner at a time method and my 2 door rubi was able to use the factory wheels without a problem. Great, simple, lift. My 2 door seems to have a negative rake now, Im not sure I like it. I was going to pull one of the front 1 inch spacers out to return to the factory rake and have a one inch lift, which the instructions say is an option.

A second option might be to replace the 1 inch rear spacer with a 2 inch. The question I had was since this is the same rear spacer as the 2.5bb, will I need the shock extensions and longer sway bar links?

Thanks in advance.

Default Just ordered this kit

After reading this thread I decided to order this kit and attempt to install myself! Thanks for all the information provided here! I may have some more questions when I am ready to install.

You could always just replace the 1" spacers in front with 1/2" spacers and that may fix the issue. That, or spend some $$$ on a new front bumper & winch

Yes for the sway bar links, and no for the shock extensions. Also, you will need to extend the track bar bracket, or get an adjustable track bar.

I'm basing this off of the Teraflex 2.5" spring lift.

I put the leveling kit on my stock sport and my milage went from 17-18 to 19-20 as for the tires my 295/70's are going on stock 17's next week so I'll update this then.

don't forget wheel spacers..you'll need them to run that size tire.

Great thread!!!

Now for the qestions I have. I currently have a 2011 JKU Rubicon and am waiting on delivery of an XHD bumper and adding a Smittybilt XRC8 Comp winch. My winch showed up yesterday but the bumper is lagging (Tuesday?)

1. Should I hold off on the lift/ leveling kit and do everything at once (nice weekend project) or go ahead and do the bumper/ winch install now and the lift later?

2. The links in the pics look significantly different from my e-dsconnects. Does it matter?

3. I only have 3500 miles on my jeep right now and am no where near replacing stock tires. When I do though I would like to replace with 285/70R17s. Will I need spacers then?

1. Go for it. Will give you something to do a few weekend in a row.
2. Shouldn't matter
3. You may need spacers with that wide of a tire, but I am still on the stock tires too, so not sure.

yes, you will need spacers for that size tires..plus it will look better with the stance pushed out a little.

I have been running spacers with my stock Mall Terrains and it even looks better with those. Next week I get my 295/70 Nittos mounted..should look even better!
