Default Tf 2.5 bb

I'm looking at the teraflex 2.5 BB with adapters. I want to keep my stock wheels and tires till i wear them out. On the teraflex website for the BB, it says,

"This kit will allow you to run up to a 35" tire (aftermarket wheels with 4.5" backspacing or less are required.) Fits all JK Wranglers including Rubicon and Unlimited."

Question is, can i run my stock wheels and tires with this kit or do i have to put wheels spacers to fit.

Yes yuo can run your stock wheels and tires with no problems. If at some point you go to a wider tire you will need to get new wheels with less backspacing or add spacers.

You can run the kit with no spacers on road, but if you are doing a lot of offroading, you will want some spacers.

I just installed the TF 2.5'' coil lift with shocks...

there is no difference between your lift and mine that would affect for rubbing (from turning and and driving normal)

I am running stock rubi wheels and tires till I get the $$$ for big dogs.

as of right now, I think the wheels look a little small...

but they really arent that bad...

You will not need spacers... but you may want them to tub out the wheels a little so it looks more fitting... I am buying new rims when I get my MG's so I am not going to waste the $$ on spacers.

if u dont plan on upgrading ur rims anytime soon then get spacers. imo the jeep looks bad at stock height with the tires being in the fender flares so far so with 2.5" it will only look worse.

i bought the spidertrac 1.5" wheel spacers and the 2.5"bb at the same time but ran the spacers for about a month and a half b4 installing the lift. i plan on running stock rims for awhile so the spacers for me were a must. do u need them no does it look funny with out them yes.

really a personal choice, but if u plan on upgrading to a bigger tire with the stock rims u will need them

You might be best to ask teraflex. I think the issue is with the rear trackbar bolts making contact with the tire. There is some combination that doesn't work, but I seem to remember it being okay with the stock tires.

Here is exactly what you are looking to do and what your concerns are.
