Hi Eric. I have this same kit installed on my Jeep with stock 245 75 16s on stock wheels and no spacers. I have not rubbed one bit on turns, or anywhere else. Also, I have not wheeled with the kit, so that is probably why I have not rubbed. I do plan on getting different wheels in the future when I upgrade tires, so I was not gonna spend an extra 200 bucks on spacers, when I don't wheel too often as it is and I can wait.

I think that the spacers were recomended because the rear sway bar end links were very close to the wheel, and under flex if was possible to have the end link rub the wheen / tire even with stock tires.

I think that's right, too, but mine were not even what I would call close. I did change the mount location from the outsides of the brackets to the insides, like the instructions said.

That was then this is now. They include a track bar relocation bracket with the kit ( recenters your rear axle) for the rear track bar. When I bought the kit they didn't include the bracket so we would buy the wheel spacers to avoid the rub on the back left tire. It would rub so bad it would slide the wheel spacer around the rim and knock it outta balance. I was told by TF that it wouldn't be an issue if I bought and installed the relocation bracket. I went with the spacers instead.

So....just so I have this right....are you saying Teraflex now says wheel spacers are NOT necessary on the kits with the rear track bar relocation bracket? I'd like to hear what Joe says about this. That sure would be nice, because I'd really like to stick with my stock wheels.

I ran the TF BB for one day, WITH the track bar relocation bracket, with the stock Rubi wheels, no spacers. The swaybar links were so close to the wheel inside edge that any bump would cause them to contact the wheel edge. I got spacers then, and did not drive it until I put them on. The same result could be achieved by flipping the swaybar links to the inside of the brackets as stated above, but I chose spacers 'cause I wanted my wheels and tires further out. It looks better that way IMO.

BTW, with the trackbar relocation bracket, stock wheels and no spacers, the swaybar links would contact on both sides, so the axle was centered.

You are very funny, there aren't many places here to go wheel'n I wish there were. As for the lights they are meant for guys with wise cracks that I help them see the light. Like yourself.
