I really like that front bumper. The bull bar goes out a little bit too far but other than that.

im not a fan of the tall (stingers ) ones that go above hood and 3 feet out. but this seems to be just right for a bull bar ! At least I think ...poison spyder customs makes awesome equipment bout $ 900.00 with skid plate for rubicons and welded recovery loops Northridge has some good pricing to watch for to save . but Best thing I did so far for modification trust me I was concerned too stinger in pic below white jeep it just not my choice .A
bumper means a lot if your not happy with what it looks like youl regret the whole thing . Im totally impressed with this look on mine ,not that I think my jeep is better than anyones but im pleased with the ps mid bumper . But every one has different perspectives . Lod makes a bull bar that's straight upright . thers others too . im not into lifted jeeps wich makes me kinda a minority on that . but mine sits just right maybe 1 inch more but I wont go higher I had lifted trucks before.. as for the 9000xl shocks make a nice noticeable ride difference now too .

4+ rating only cuz yeh the paint isn't the best quality . now if these were rust proof oh boy !

oh btw never dropped my soft top yet in almost 3 years lol

I'm looking for a mechanic that is honest and does great work on the cheap, and I dont care if its under the pep boys umbrella. The other problem is that the 4x4 shop close by has so many terrible online reviews that I cant take it there fo' sho.

Anyways, they quoted me $560 to have the work done. Haha.

I went from buying 4 shocks to be put on myself for free, to having to possibly pay and extra $550 to go up 2 inches with the lift kit.

Update ... I called the crap 4x4 shop and they quoted me $250 which is still better.

LA has no good Jeep mechanics that is for sure.
I just called the Jeep stealership in Glendale out of curiosity and got quoted $650.

I would take it to rebel offroad down in laguna but they aren't even open on weekends.

Default well you gota figure ???

they have to take shocks off springs and stuff tires . So they have to profit and if theres any thing stuck on or problem . id say $350 .00 and I know that's a lot too . but figure it will take them 3 hours prob the way shit goes
id rather not have a 4x4 shop who sucks do it even if they charged 100.00 it will prob be done wrong or hacked , prob should do it yourself and u know its done right .

Yeah the prob is I dont own a floor jack or stands, I wont be able to drop the axle and the clamp thing for the springs looks shady. I also just have basic tools.

I might be able to borrow a floor jack and stands but if I can find a reliable person to do it for $250 or less I'll go that route.

you can buy a set of floor jacks for $45 and use the stock jack. I've done it. Its a pain in the ass, but can be done.

Default think of the tool kit you could buy

with all that money though

and u wont find any one to do any lift for under that / you can buy big torque wrench at walmart
and lots of sockets and jacks & and youl know your jeep that much better what about when you need to change all your fluids out? and differentials . youl be paying again and still no tools

& yeh not saying everyone wants or can to do their own work on them , but if your not loaded .

I would buy the tools but this is the city and once I'm done with them I have absolutely no place to store them. I also want the satisfaction of knowing that the work is being done correctly. I can do the shocks easily but the springs is another thing. I have a 3 year old boy and I dont want to take a chance of screwing something up when I should be having a pro do it.

or sometime you mess up something in process and need another tool you don't have or something . But I think youl pay more than the 250 labor but good luck

Well I guess this offer was too good to be true. I have sent in the rebate with all of the invoices, receipts and emails that my rancho shock distributer provided, and its still not enough for Rancho to send me a rebate check. The friggin box is sitting right there close to my feet, do they need me to take a photo holding the box and parts up? What more do you need?

Apparently after a little research they have done this numerous times to other customers. If they decide to do a fast one on me I'll just return the products completely. I have no problem doing that. Check out the scam reports.

Didn't you send it in like a week ago? Mail-in rebates take a long ass time to process, regardless of scam claims.
