Tire Carrier Solutions
Hi all,
I am in the market for a tire carrier for my 35's, every time I hit a bump I'm afraid my tailgate is going to break. Im running ARB bumpers right now, from what I have read you can not mount the ARB tire carrier onto a bumper that it was not designed for...I guess it is not sufficiently reinforced. I have been looking at other solutions and came across the OR-Fab tire/gas can carrier. http://www.4wheelparts.com/Bumpers-T..._pn=ORF85207BB
Does anyone have any experience with these or know of a better solution?
thanks

I'm new to Jeeps and just priced out my move to 35's including new wheels/tires/lift. On top of that, I'm looking at spending another $600 and up (for just the OR-Fab) on a new rear tire carrier? OMG.<please take the time to laugh at the newb before proceeding to the next post>

sleeves
gussets

That evo one is sick and that would look great on any jeep. I don't think mod status matters. You'll catch up to it.
My buddy just put 35's on and is using a spacer for the rear. We are going to do some decent miles over the next couple weeks so it will be interesting to see how his tailgate holds up.
Love it
