I don't have this system on my 07 so I might be way off base but couldn't you guys just get some pipe or weld up a small box and intall the factory valve stems and an air fill valve, pump it up and keep it under the seat or something. Do the sensors have to see movement/rotation? I would think the sensors would always read correct then and you could run whatever wheel package you wanted. May or may not work just trying to help.

I have sugested that before, to trick the system. I want to try this but I won't have myw new wheels til mid Feb.

I think you could use PVC pipe instead of the welding.

Default Do you have to reflash the computer?

If I decide to just buy new sensors for my custom wheels because I want to
switch to my original wheels in the winter months do I have to get the
computer reflashed by the Dealer every time I switch my wheels/Tires?

STEP #1 Bring the Jeep in the shop with factory wheels and tires at an air pressure that satisfies the system - i.e. no alarm. (factory spec air pressure)

STEP #2 Jack and support Jeep, remove factory wheels and tires and haul them away. Not as in the back of the garage, but away. (we loaded them on the dually and hauled them home - 3 miles)

STEP #3 Install new wheels tires without TPMS sensors - just normal valve stems, remove stands and drive.

FWIW no alarms, bells, chimes or idiot light in the dash to date.

I had mine done professionally and thats what they did and yes the TPMS still works because I aired down to go on the beach over the weekend and the light came on. Plus I even lowered my front tires down to 35PSI COLD and left the rears at 40 PSI COLD and it didn't trigger the light.

Thanks RockYacht!

try just mounting them on your jk then reset it if it does not do it on its own then do as above and see if it works

So your TPMS is working WITHOUT sensors in the tires?

how long will it take for the alarm go away? 3" lift will look rather funny with 16" skinnies.
