Installed the front drive shaft today and installing the rear tomorrow. I'm doing them on different days so I can check for vibration. I drove around tonight and didn't have any vibration. So if I have a vibration after tomorrow's install, I'll know it's the rear drive shaft.

Here's the front yoke and the O-ring that you take out of the factory yoke and use in the new one.

Here it is installed on the transfer case. When torquing the yoke nut, put the jeep in 4wd to keep the transfer case shaft from turning.

When bolting the drive shaft to the yoke, you WILL need a box-end wrench. You can make an open end wrench work, but it will take much longer. A wrench with a long handle is better because you can't get a torque wrench up there to pull it down.

Here's the drive shaft attached to the new yoke.

And here's the axle-end of the drive shaft.

Finally, here's a link to the drive shaft installation instructions.

I didn't get a pic of the entire drive shafts side by side, but here's approximately how much longer the TM shafts are.

Also, the factory yoke didn't want to come off with a hammer tap, so I used a gear puller.

To get the factory shaft off the rear yoke, use a punch and tap it out. There are two holes so just alternate sides with the punch until it breaks loose.

Thanks, I didn't plan on my posts being a write-up, it just kind of happened that way. Had I known, I may have started a thread in the write-up section.

I've had a chance to drive around with the both new drive shafts for a few days now and they are just fine. I had a slight vibration after I put on the rear shaft, but it went away after about a quarter mile. I'm guessing all the grease had settled to one side and it took that quarter mile of the shaft spinning in order to evenly distribute the grease.

Guys, I'm in the middle of my install and cant figure out what the rear upper control arms are supposed to be set to. The instructions say 18 5/8". I have the joints screwed all the way in and I can only get it down to 18 7/8". Can you guys tell me what you have yours set at? Thanks in advance.

Just make the lowers a little longer and you'll be fine. Even after every thing is done, you'll need to do further adjustments to to correct the drive shaft and pinion angles. But you won't know which way to adjust the arms until the jeep is back on the ground.

Well, I got everything but the driveshafts installed this weekend. It was pretty much a pain in the ass. lol
I'm pretty impressed with the quality of everything. It's all pretty beefy, including the control arms, they seem like they can take a good smash. The brake lines are some of the nicer I've seen as well. I'll get some pics up soon!
I still have some work to do. Ok a lot. My main problem right now is that I'm using Bilstein 5100 series shocks They are rated for 3.5-5.5 inches of lift. The fronts fit great but the rears are way to long, they are almost completely compressed just sitting in the driveway. Bilstein makes them for 1.5-3.0 inches of lift as well. I'm thinking I'll have to use those in the rear. Hopefully they're long enough. I also bent the hell out of my steering stabilizer (dont ask).
Question: Did you guys torque every bolt? I haven't yet, not sure if it's necessary/which bolts need it. Obviously the driveshafts will but I'm not there yet.

The main prob with the bilstiens is that they make a 26in exted length for the rear and a 30in. They don't make a 28in ext. At least last time I checked. which is more likely what you need. If I were you, I'd measure from shock mounts and see what you come up with. The 26in worked fine with my 4in Superlift but didn't work when I added a 1 3/4 in spacer back there
