I don't think they create a lot of noise for a mud tire. I'm happy with them!!

And I guess they are OK on the beach? Would you drive across the US with that noise from the tire?

Just drove 6 hours straight to Georgia no issues with noise. I was going 78 mph most of the time. Only got 16 mpg but that's good for a rolling brick.

I work with a couple guys that have the KEDGE GRIP (walnut and glass) and they say they don’t seam to make a difference on snow or ice. I just purchased five 315/75R16 and didn’t get the KEDGE GRIP they say it reduces the tread life by
15-20% I live just down the road from there facility so I’m hoping to get a chance to see their process when I go pick them up in a few weeks.

debating between a set of BFG Rugged terrain for 185.00 each or a set of the Treadwright Wardens for 130.00 each.

It wouldnt be a debate at all but something in the back of my head keeps saying "putting your kids life in the hands of a re-tread?"

This going on my Daily Driver 2009 JK 4dr.

I havent seen any issues with the TW tires either, but its incredibly difficult to overcome the unknown.

I'm pretty sure retreads are illegal in Va. IMHO tires are one of the things not to go the cheap route on. Has anyone aired down an ran them? How do they run?

I'v Wheeled them aired them down no issues. These are not retreads they are remoulds. They take the cores and re cast the entire thing. I like the fact that in some small way I'm recycling and helping the environment. I have 2 kids and I have no problems putting them in the Jeep with them on. I even took a 9 hour only stopped for gas trip to south georgia... no issues no blow outs and I'm running 26 psi.

Great tire here are some pics

Anybody run these 40k miles or more yet? I drive about that many miles a year for work and really don't like buying tires more than once a year. In a couple months my current tires will be about shot- trying to get a plan.
