I parked next to jshel73 this morning. Jason has 35-12.50-17 Kumho's on 17x9 Rugged Ridge wheels. Mine are 315/75-16 Treadwright's on 16x8 ProComp's. As you can see, mine are narrower (TW lists the section width as 12.2", but the tread width is listed at 10.1") but it's tough to tell the height in the picture. I've actually measured them and mine are slightly taller, like ~1/2", IIRC. Mine are 34" tall on the Jeep @ 30 PSI.

 

Yeah, here is an example of what I was talking about.

On the left is a 265/75 "new" tire. On the right is a 265/70 TreadWright tire. Just based on number alone, the 265/70 SHOULD be 1 inch shorter...but as you can see, the TreadWright is actually the same height if not .1" taller!

So the retreading process makes the tires taller than their listed sizes would lead you to think and you should consider this when purchasing.

 

I just got my wardens in. They are way beyond what I expected. They made a great tire! I can't wait to mount them, for now I have to wait till I can get my 2d lined up then I will tell you if I still love them.

There are guys running heavy wheels and 35 inch tires weighing this amount which isnt very far from hight wise measuring 33.3 tall and 11.5 wide. 35 bfg at is 34.4 and 12.5 wide weighs 66 lbs which is light for a 35 I think. I'm pretty sure you find me a aftermarket wheel and 33inch tire that doesn't weight more than a factory wheel and these tires.

 

I have just over 1000 miles on mind now. Still love'm. I'm taking a little trip this weekend (approx. 800-900 miles) and its mostly highway miles. I'll let you know how they do when I get back Sunday. So far, best purchase I've made for my JKU.

 

We've put 7k on ours and they are still doing great, I just wish I would have gone with 315's.

 

Im at about 600 miles on mine, with some off road miles in there already as well.

I noticed after airing down and back up I had a slight shimmy going past 40 mph, and never other than that. Technically they can not be aired down, due to the warranty. But i brought them down to 15 and they did fabulous on the rocks and stuck very well.

 

I run mine at about 16 PSI off road, too.

 

Got them mounted and they are great! i am impressed so far.
