I didn't see an install video for the trektop. I did watch the jeep doctor's install video on his tj, but there are some subtle difference on the jk version

Haha I did too, I cut myself on the corner cuz I have corner armor, then when it wouldn't zip I got pissed. Now it works with me but still, a very tough and tight top. Wait until its hot!

I do not tuck the sides in prior to getting the rear glass zipped in. The top must be folded back also.
I helped a guy install his new top last month. Once we got the hardware on it took a couple try's but got it on easy.
There is a certain sequence that I found to follow to make it fast and easy.

I installed my trektop yesterday and it seems as I have the same problem. The zippers on the quarter windows don't line up. Also the windows will not go around the door surrounds for a flush fit. I let it sit outside in the sun and 102 degrees all day and was still unable to fix it. is there any secrets, I've done everything I can think of.

I will attempt to upload pics tomorrow for a visual. Thanks to all!

Looks to me like the top is pulled too far to the back and over to the drivers side. I alwsys try to get my zippers started about an inch on the sides, then fold in the edges in the doors, then clise them. Then get the back window started on both sides. Next finish the zippers on each side above the door an velcro everyghing. Then zip down the back window on both sides. Clip in the retainer, then clip under all the bottom lips. Thats how i do it and havent had any issues. Hope it works out

I'm having the same issue with the passenger door, the top of the side window will not wrap around the door surround like on the bottom. Also, I noticed on the picture above that it appears the top is over the surround, on mine the top fits into the top of the surround so it's like there are gutters above the door. Which way is correct?

the top should come with it's own door surrounds, can't use the oem soft top door surrounds.
The tuck in on the rear door surround is a bit tight near the top, but you need to work it in, press or tap with a rubber mallet. It will eventually fit it easier. Yes, the top should fit "down in between" the outer lip of the door surrounds to make "like a gutter" affect. The header bar should stretch as far forward as possible without much gap from the windshield frame. Btw- bringing the front section forward to latch the header should be "your last step".
