VIPER Throttle Body
Yeah, I think the dyno sheet seems a bit extreme and also think there may be a tuner in involved with it. Because I as stated in my original post it does not feel like 20hp. I know what 20hp is like in the real world.
In the end I actually own the part and have roadtested it for almost for a year. That is the absolute here. As most are just speculators with little to no first hand experience.
Take it for what it is.

Very common on forums in general. You just have to weed through the B.S. and look for the facts and avoid the speculators.
I noticed several people asking if anyone was running the viper throttle body with a tune. I have the viper throttle body and have had it for about two months with no issues. I also have a Superchips 91 tune installed on the JK. Not by choice either. The tuner is having issues so the tune is stuck onmy JK. The tuner has been sent back to Superchips for repairs. I just installed Ripp longtubes and plan to install thier tune from the Dialbo tuner that came with the header package. I'm not sure if the Diablo supports the viper throttle body. I had heard it does not. If I have any issues I will be sure to post them here.
That is exactly what I am running. You can use the coupler that comes with the Airaid but you will need to lube it up a bit. I fought it for a second but I was able to get it on. And the clamp that goes around the throttle body side of the coupler will not be long enough. If I remember right it came up about an inch short. I went to the local auto parts store and bought a larger clamp. Other than that, no issues.

DITTO to what others have said about this upgrade. I have been running it for about six weeks with NO codes or problems on my 2008 JK "X". I am running the Hypertech REGULAR fuel tune with an Airaid CAI. I am seeing 0.5 - 1 MPG increase and improved throttle response with the Viper throttle body. I have been awaiting the dreaded "limp mode" that other have suffered in these and other forums but it has not happened yet. I put over 500 miles per week on my JK commuting to work so I am very keen on problems that occur. I have noticed that the older JK's seem to do fine with this upgrade and newer ones past 2009 may have problems...that is my UNOFFICIAL survey of forum post. I consider this to be an EXCELLENT upgrade for the price espically since the next programming update for the Hypertech will have a setting for larger (i.e. Viper) throttle bodies.

Getting ready to install the Airaid CAI and am hoping it's a slam dunk with the Viper TB.
