I like the fact that the River Raider has a shorter run on the outside of the vehicle and what appears to be an easier installation but the price is for bare metal then you add between $75 and $150 dollars for coating the snorkel which means that the RROR cost around $230 - $310 more than the AEV, so if money is an issue AEV is probably the choice.

I decided to go with AEV for mine (my next purchase) mostly because I think it looks better

I have the AEV and love it, I do however like the looks of the RR more since they changed it.

i dont know about it being easier to install.. the RR one needs battery relocation and the AEV bolts right up to factory air box. Money isnt an issure but so far it seems like the better one is actually the less costly one in this situation.

Nothing against RR but I like the AEV one better. I have seen both in person.
