Default What to do, What to do

Ok everyone, really need some help making a decision here. With my upcoming b-day, my wife gave me an ultimatum that I can only choose one or two things i really want...AR15 or Regear. I really want an AR15 and have wanted one for years, especially because you never know when the zombie apocalypse is going to happen!:gap: As far as the regear, my current set up would really benefit from it...285/75/16s with 4.10, plan on going to 4.88. The other thing is that I have a front pinion seal leak. I don't really want to spend the money to get the leak fixed and then spend more to do the regear. I would rather have it done at one time. Currently, the Jeep is pretty sluggish and I pull a pop-up trailer so new gears would certainly help...but I won't be pulling again until next summer so I could save up for it then. I go back and forth and just can't make a decision. Any input? I guess I know what the answer will be considering this is a JK forum!

Gears are a no brainer...You need to be able to out run the zombies too!

I'd go with the gears. You will appreciate them and use them everyday.

Gears - Hands Down. Not outrun the Zombies, but get up to proper ramming speed and run them over in true 4WD fashion. THEN, you can wait a few weeks and claim "we need home self defense so I can protect your virtue... We need an AR"

I'm gonna go against the grain and say AR15.. Use the winter months to save for gears and seal leak and enjoy shooting the AR15 while waiting.... Sorry guys I'm in the Army and have a love for both weapons and jeep...

Guns first. ALWAYS guns first! Then get a full-size pickup with a V8 to pull the damn trailer. There, problem solved.

I agree with Bubba.....Save up for the AR after the re-gear. Try out some of your friends rifles and see which options you like, start buying ammo NOW.

Really, you can't go wrong either way ! Tough decision.
