Get the gears and build your AR over time. Then the money is not spent in one big lump, and the girlfriend will not notice the money going so quick.

Buy the parts for the AR a little bit at a time. get the receiver first. Then put it together yourself. takes about 45 minutes. lots of youtube videos.....very easy!

 

What's better than a Jeep AND an AR? My vote is an AR! Plus I would get one before another scare comes around with ammo and fire arms. Never heard of a scare about seals and gears.

 

Gears and build your own AR over time. It's really easy to do. Or just buy a $400 AK-47. I actually like my $400 AK as much as my $1400 AR-15 and it shoots just as well using cheap Russian ammo.

 

Well, I actually like the idea of going with gears and then building an AR. I was just looking at rock river arms. Or, I think I can get around this problem by getting the gears, and then telling my folks and in-laws to get me gift certificates or cash to Sportsmans Wharehosue! I figured the overwhelming majority would be gears, but not so much! I guess its good to have such a problem.

 

Just saw that you are actually a Zombie Hunter! I am somewhat prepared. Mossberg 590, 2 pistols, a 20 gauge I could saw off and I can run. I do need a bat though!
